The first ever conference on diabetes education in Pakistan, the NADEP.Con, was held on 21st and 22nd February 2015 at a hotel Regent plaza which was successfully organized by National Association of Diabetes Educators of Pakistan (NADEP) . The main objective of the event was to highlight the significance of diabetes education in the prevention and care of diabetes. It was the first ever conference on diabetes education, in Pakistan. On Saturday, 21st of February a Public Awareness Program was held which was heavily attended by people with diabetes, their families, common people and dignitaries from various walks of life.
