NADEP Foot Con 2017
The first ever conference on diabetes education and Diabetic Foot in Pakistan, the NADEP Foot Con, was held on 18th to 20th August 2017 at a PC Hotel, Rawalpindi, which was successfully organized by National Association of Diabetes Educators of Pakistan (NADEP) and Pakistan working Group on Diabetic Foot in collaboration with Baqai Institute of Diabetology and Endocrinology. The main objective of the event was to highlight the significance of education for care of Diabetic Foot. One of the salient feature was the announcement of the results of National Diabetes Survey of Pakistan. The valued participation of international faculty was very much appreciated. The participants had shown keen interest in all Plenary sessions and workshops. Among workshops two were highly attended viz: Art of healthy cooking, and Physical activity- start where you are.
